Barnabas is a 1 year old long haired chihuahua who was surrendered to  CPP with his companion, Cornelius, when his family decided they weren't  interested in having dogs.  Neither dog had been receiving adequate  care, and they were initially very scared.  Barnabas is still regrowing the hair on his face from a previously untreated flea allergy.

However, Barnabas came out of his shell quickly, and he seems to love  both children and other dogs.  He is a little calmer than Cornelius and prefers to be held and snuggle.  We do not  know if Barnabas has ever lived with cats.

The adoption fee is $150 for each dog.   (These prices are subject to change without notice.)
