Female German Shepherd/Catahoula mix, approx. 1 yr old, spayed

Sonya is an owner surrender due to owner not being able to provide adequate shelter, food, and attention.  Sonya is sweet and very people friendly.  Gets along with other dogs though not always with other females so if other dogs are in the family, or you consider other dogs, Sonya will need to be introduced to them.  (Best with neutered males) She barks at cats and will probably chase them, but when introduced to cats she was not aggressive.  

Uncertain if she was ever house trained.

Probably not a good choice for families with children under 7 years of age unless family has yard and is VERY SERIOUS about taking the time to obedience train.

Eats anything in her bowl.  Has been eating Purina Dog Chow.

Sonya is a beauty that will always grab attention!  If you would like a dog that starts conversations while you go for walks, then Sonya is a great dog to consider.
