Conner is 2yr old neutered male border collie/bulldog mix.  Conner is special needs due to blindness from a snake bite.  Conner is very smart and very happy.  He celebrates every moment with pure dog joy.  He is very intelligent and loves to go for walks on a leash.  He is pretty sure he knows where to take you but he really needs an owner that will lookout for him and will help Conner to refine his manners.  Conner is very people friendly.  He has been around other dogs and he loves to play, but something about his being blind makes him give strange signals that confuses other dogs.  One thing is he will run into other dogs and they may take this as an aggressive behavior.    He can't read other dogs so he may barrel into a situation where the other dog is warning him to give some room. Conner can and will map out the area mentally.  He quickly learns a space and can avoid running into obstacles that are permanent... less obstacles is best, sometimes people are the obstacle and he will run into legs so consider this when around elderly.  He may not be cat friendly and being blind won't stop Conner from finding anything. Conner would love to be active and enjoys a game of hide and seek, he is very good at this game! He needs a mature stable owner that would love a really cool dog that just happens to be blind.
