Belle is a 3 1/2 year old yorkie whose people just couldn't care for her anymore. She was rescued a year ago by some Good Samaritans who never realized that this pint-sized girl was heartworm positive and hadn't been spayed yet! Amazingly, she never had puppies, and they unknowingly started her on the slow kill method of heartworm treatment by putting her on Heartgard.  We will send a
12 month supply of Heartgard with Belle to finish off the treatment.

Despite those nasty heartworms Belle is a happy, playful little dog who likes big and small dogs equally. She also enjoys sitting in laps and being gently groomed.  She is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly.  Belle is no more than 10 to 12 pounds.
