Checkers is a 5 month old chihuahua mix who ended up at the CPP when his elderly owner realized she just couldn't handle a young puppy. He is a very sweet, tiny guy who would like a quiet home where he can get plenty of attention.

Despite being so fragile looking, Checkers is not at all afraid of larger dogs and would love the companionship of another pup in his new home.  We do not know if Checkers has ever been around cats.

Because of his young age and very small size, we suspect that Checkers is not fully housebroken.
