Pepsi is a 2-3 year old spayed female dachshund mix who was given up at the CPP vet when her family couldn't care for her anymore. Unfortunately, she turned out to be heartworm positive, so this cute girl is having a hard time finding a family who is willing to take on her medical needs.

Pepsi can be very vocal when she wants attention, so she probably isn't the best choice for an apartment since her vocalizations might bother the neighbors. However, when she has someone to dote on her, Pepsi is calm and loves to be held.

We don't know if Pepsi ever lived with children, but she seems to like the ones she has met at PetsMart adoption events.  We also don't know whether or not she's housebroken since we have very little background on her previous home.
