Winter is the last of the adult GP/Lab dogs from the abandoned house. We referred to all of them as the 450 Rescue (remember Otis) and she’s the sister to Ruth that had the Toy Story litter that Amanda is fostering. Kristen has literally spent the past two months over there every day trying to earn her trust. She fell in love with her in the process so she’s going to keep her - thank God! You can change the chip registration into Kristen’s name. Reach out to Kristen to find out what info she wants to register her too because they’re moving to Kentucky soon
though they do plan to keep their place here.
The rescue effort at that place started in September! I think the final total was 4 adult dogs, 11 puppies and 13 cats! All have been adopted or relocated as barn cats with the exception of the 3 puppies Amanda still has. We don’t know what happened to poor Otis. He just disappeared. Makes me sad we weren’t able to help him. His dedication to the others is the only thing that kept them alive.
