Carmen is a 2 year old chihuahua who came to CPP when her owner could no longer care for both her dogs and her ailing husband.  She is used to being around other dogs, but she can be very shy with new people until she warms up.  However, Carmen seems to be more relaxed with older children than adults.  She gets along fine with cats and other small dogs.  Carmen is trained to use wee-wee pads and a doggy door. She appears be around 4 or 5 pounds.
