Butterscotch is a 4 year old spayed female chihuahua or chihuahua mix who came into CPP when her owner could no longer take care of both her dogs and her ailing husband.  She has lived with several other small dogs and is doing well with the cats in her foster home.  Butterscotch is a little shy at first, but once she warms up she loves to be held and carried.  She seems comfortable with older children, but due to her small size, she might find very small children overwhelming.  Butterscotch is about 4 or 5 pounds and is wee-wee pad trained and knows how to use a doggy door.
