Ella is a four month old Australian Shepherd.  Ella has some special needs.  She is partially deaf.  She does not hear voices, but she does react to certain sounds so we know she has some hearing.
Ella's eye sight is also impaired.  Her eyes are very small, and her eyelids obstruct part of her vision.  Our veterinarian says the problem might get better as she grows, but more than likely she will need to have her eyelids tucked to improve her vision.  This can be done when when she is spayed.  If you use our veterinarian, Charlene's Pound Puppies will cover this expense as part of our regular adoption fee.
Despite her special needs, Ella is a very happy puppy.
She loves to play and compensates with an incredible sense of smell. 
She likes to play outdoors but needs a shady area since direct sunlight bothers her eyes.
 Ella will also need a fenced yard and a doggie companion to help show her the ropes. 
She is sweet and loving and would make a great addition to a special home.
